Moving the Ark of the Covenant

Turns out, it’s not in an abandoned warehouse known only by “top men”…

The Ark of the Covenant is, reputedly, in Ethiopia.

But the chapel it’s been kept in has a leaky roof and now they must move it to a new chapel that’s being built.

This may lead to the first sighting of the Ark, which the Ethiopians notorious keep under close wraps.

Now, whether or not the Ethiopians have the actual Ark of the Covenant is not known. They won’t let archaeologists or anyone actually look at it or examine it.

But the ancient Ethiopian royal family claimed to be descended from the union of King Solomon and the Queen of Sheba. And as descendants of Solomon, they claim the Ark was brought to them when it was forced to leave Jerusalem.

I’d love for this to be true. That would be amazing. But at the same time, the secrecy and lack of verification is incredibly suspicious.

But then, if they had the actual Ark, would they let such a holy relic be investigated, poked, prodded, and subject to examination? Probably not.
